SMAU Naples: Widespread Consensus for the AWS Cloud

A few days ago, the spotlight went out on Smau in Naples, the most important event dedicated to Information & Communications Technology in Southern Italy. The one that has just passed was a particularly rich edition: 50 companies including startups, digital companies and high-tech districts of Campania, 9 Live Shows and 50 free training workshops curated by teachers and experts on topics of particular interest in the digital field. The event, organized down to the smallest detail, was promoted by the Department of Innovation, Startups and Internationalization of the Campania Region in collaboration with Sviluppo Campania, all hosted in the splendid setting offered by the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples. VMEngine, an AWS stronghold in southern Italy, organized a training workshop in which Fabio Cecaro, CEO of the company and Cloud Evangelist, explained how Cloud Computing is an indispensable resource for e-Commerce.

The seminar entitled “E-Commerce: Resilient Architectures with Cloud Computing for online sales” was a great success, stimulating the curiosity of small and medium-sized enterprises but also of large companies that have been selling online for some time but would like their site to always be performing and not create inconvenience for users. As Fabio Cecaro explained during his speech:
“There is no successful e-shop in the world that has not adopted the Cloud not only as a technology but also and above all as a winning business model. Reliability, Scalability, Security and Pay-per-use are the main features that Amazon Web Services makes available to companies, allowing them to implement a solid and elastic architecture for an E-commerce site or web infrastructure.”
